Next Visit Card (Digital Leave-Behind)
The Next Visit card gives a customer a quick, no-login view of their next visit and where they are in their deep-clean rotation — useful as a digital leave-behind after a cleaning.
Overview
Some customers want a simple way to check when their next cleaning is, and where that visit falls in a recurring deep-clean rotation, without logging into the customer portal. The Next Visit card covers that: it appears in the customer portal, and it's also reachable through a public, token-based link that works with no login at all — so it can be texted, emailed, or handed to a customer as a leave-behind after a visit.
Key Features
- No login required on the public link. The token-based next-visit page is accessible without a customer portal account, so anyone with the link can view it.
- Deep-clean rotation context. The card shows where the upcoming visit falls in the customer's deep-clean rotation, not just the date.
- Also visible in the customer portal. Customers who do log in see the same information as part of their normal portal experience.
- Optional arrival window. If your company turns on Show Arrival Window (Settings > Customer Access > Visits & Documents), the card shows a time range for the visit (for example, "11:00 AM – 2:00 PM") instead of just the date. This is off by default — with it off, the card shows the visit date only, with no time.
How to Share a Next Visit Link
- Open the customer's record in Pulse.
- Locate the customer's next-visit link (the public, token-based URL for that customer).
- Share it with the customer directly — by text, email, or as a printed leave-behind — or point them to it in the customer portal.
Tips and Best Practices
- Use the public link for customers who don't use the portal. It gives them next-visit information without asking them to create or remember portal credentials.
- Treat the link as customer-specific. Since the public page works from a token with no login, only share a customer's link with that customer.
