MaidSense Assistant

MaidSense Assistant helps your team understand Pulse, look up supported business data, and turn questions into useful next steps. It is designed to be practical: ask a question in plain language, review the result, and use Pulse to make the final decision.

Who Can Access This

RoleAccess level
AdministratorAsk questions, use prompts, and review branch conversations
Office Manager, Sales, HR Admin, Payroll AdminAsk questions and use prompts available to their role
note

MaidSense Assistant and optional data tools may need to be enabled for your company. You only see information your Pulse role is allowed to access.

Open MaidSense Assistant

  1. In the left navigation, select MaidSense.
  2. Select the Assistant tab.
  3. Type a question, choose a prompt from Prompt library, or open a previous conversation.

Your conversations are saved so you can return to the same question later. Select New conversation when you want to start fresh.

What MaidSense can help with

MaidSense can answer two kinds of questions:

  • Pulse help — Learn how a Pulse feature or workflow works. For example, ask “How does quoting work?” or “How do I reschedule a job?”
  • Business questions — Review supported live business information such as schedules, customers, revenue, alerts, and reports.

It shows clear progress while it works, such as Getting sales data or Reviewing schedule details. This lets you know it is retrieving information instead of simply waiting on a reply.

Data MaidSense can use

AreaWhat you can askData timing and limits
ScheduleWho is working, job counts, workload, and open timeReads current Pulse schedule information. Schedule ranges are limited to two weeks per question.
Schedule alertsRisks and alert counts for a selected dayUses the Schedule Monitor’s current read-only results.
Schedule gapsIdle time between a technician’s jobsFinds gaps for one day at a time.
CustomersContact details, account status, service frequency, and next visitReads matching customer records you are allowed to view. It does not use this lookup for payment or lifetime-value history.
RevenueInvoiced, collected, overdue, and prior-period totalsSupports month-to-date, last month, and year-to-date summaries. For a day or custom date range, ask MaidSense to run an appropriate report.
Pulse reportsSales, customer satisfaction, cancellations, service consistency, employee statistics, payroll, and other available reportsOnly reports available to your company and role are offered. Results use the report’s selected date range.
Warehouse insightsTrends, rankings, history, and aggregate analysisAvailable only when your company has Warehouse Insights enabled. Warehouse data follows its refresh schedule, so review the source timing before making a production decision.

MaidSense may combine more than one supported source when that gives a clearer answer. The response identifies the source and date range when available.

Ask better business questions

Start with the outcome you need, then include the date, customer, technician, or branch detail that matters.

GoalExample question
Review sales“How were sales this month compared with last month?”
Find a customer“When is Jordan Smith’s next scheduled visit?”
Check capacity“Where are the schedule gaps tomorrow?”
Review schedule risk“What schedule alerts need attention today?”
Choose a report“Which report can explain why customers cancelled last month?”
Review performance“Show the sales report for March and summarize the biggest risk.”

If an answer needs a different time period or more detail, ask a follow-up in the same conversation. MaidSense keeps the context of that discussion.

Use the Prompt library

The Prompt library offers approved, repeatable questions for common work. Select the book icon in the Assistant header to browse prompts. Some prompts ask for details, such as a date or customer name, before they run.

You can favorite prompts you use often. If your role allows it, you can create private prompts. Authorized users can also manage shared prompts for the branch.

Prompts do not bypass normal access rules. MaidSense still checks your permissions and the current company features before it uses data.

Schedule recovery recommendations

Some companies can ask MaidSense for read-only recovery options after a cancellation or when a technician calls off. These recommendations consider live staffing, job duration, travel, and promised service windows.

MaidSense does not reschedule, assign, or move jobs for you. Review an option in Schedule and make any change there.

What MaidSense does not do automatically

MaidSense is a decision-support tool. It does not silently change customer records, schedules, invoices, payroll, or reports. It also does not see data outside your company or data your Pulse role cannot access.

Some companies may enable limited Action Proposals. In that case, MaidSense can prepare a schedule-change or on-the-way notification for review. Nothing is sent until a user reviews the exact preview and explicitly approves it.

Treat recommendations as a helpful starting point. Confirm important financial, staffing, or customer-impacting decisions in the related Pulse screen before acting.

Tips and best practices

  • Include a date range when timing matters.
  • Ask one business question at a time, especially for revenue or report analysis.
  • Use a report for daily or custom-range revenue instead of asking for a single-day revenue summary.
  • Check the source and date range shown with a result before sharing it.
  • Start a new conversation when changing to an unrelated topic.
  • Use Prompt library for repeatable team questions.

How this guide grows

MaidSense Assistant is evolving. New approved data sources, reports, prompts, and recommendations will be added here as they become available. The guide always describes what the Assistant can do in Pulse today; your company may have a smaller set of options based on enabled features and permissions.
