Franchise Portal

The Franchise Portal gives franchise owners and host administrators a single place to see how every location is doing — performance, leads, and fees — without switching between individual company logins.

The Franchise Portal is a separate sign-in from your day-to-day Office app. If you don't have access, contact your MaidCentral administrator.

Overview

The Franchise Portal is its own portal (a separate address from the Office app) built for anyone who oversees more than one location — franchise dashboards, cross-location reports, fee tracking, and location comparisons all live here. It's organized around a sidebar with these sections:

  • Dashboard — headline metrics and charts across all your locations
  • Locations — a list (or map) of every location, each with its own Overview, Profile, Manage, and Reports tabs
  • Compare Locations — side-by-side performance comparison
  • Reports — a catalog of franchise-wide reports, including a Weekly Submissions rollup
  • Fees — franchise fee types, tiers, and royalty tracking, with franchisor-level editing
  • Gift Cards — gift card transaction tracking

See Franchise Reports for report navigation and filters, and Locations, Comparison, and Fees for the Locations, Compare Locations, and Fees pages.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is the portal's home page. It shows headline metrics — total sales, job count, active homes, and location count — along with a revenue trend chart and a location comparison chart, all pulled from the same data used in the Franchise KPI Report. See Franchise KPI Report for a full breakdown of the underlying metrics.

If a chart or metric can't load, you'll see a short message explaining the data is temporarily unavailable. Try again in a few minutes — if it keeps happening, contact your administrator.

Setting Your Display Preferences

Your display preferences follow you across devices.

To update your preferences:

  1. Click your avatar in the top corner of the Franchise Portal.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Update your display settings in the dialog.
  4. Close the dialog to save.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Start on the Dashboard for a quick pulse check, then drill into Reports or Compare Locations when you need more detail.
  • Report tiles roll out gradually — if a report you expect isn't in the catalog yet, check back later or ask your administrator.
