Job Count by Date & Status
Job Count by Date & Status pivots every job in a date range by day (or week) and lifecycle status, showing counts, dollar totals, and percentages across every branch you can access. Click any count to drill into the exact jobs behind it. This report replaces MaidCentral V2's Job Count Status by Date report.
Find it under Reports → Job Count by Date & Status.

Overview
Each row in the matrix is a date (or a week, if you group by week) and each branch you can access. Columns are grouped by lifecycle status, reading left to right in the order a job naturally moves through it:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Scheduled, no one has clocked in yet |
| In Progress | A crew is clocked in and has not clocked out |
| Complete | Worked and clocked out, but the office has not closed it out — this is a backlog waiting on office action |
| Closed | Closed out by the office |
| Cancelled | Cancelled by the customer or the office |
| Skipped | Skipped for this cycle; the recurring service continues |
| Moved | Rescheduled to a different date |
| Lock Out | The crew could not get in |
| Bumped | Bumped to a different date or crew |
V2 groups In Progress under Pending and Complete under Closed/Completed. This report keeps them separate so a crew still on site and a job waiting on office close-out are each visible on their own, instead of hiding inside another status.
Every count is clickable and opens a drill-through of the exact jobs behind it — a cell showing 12 always corresponds to exactly 12 jobs.
Summary Tiles
Four tiles above the matrix summarize the selected range:
| Tile | Shows |
|---|---|
| Jobs | Total jobs in the range, across every status |
| Value | Total bill rate across those jobs |
| Backlog | Jobs sitting in Complete (worked but not office-closed), with how many are still In Progress |
| Outside V2 | Jobs V2 would have silently excluded (service set types flagged to skip kiosk reports), with their dollar value |
Filtering and Grouping
- Date range — sets the reporting period; defaults to the current month.
- Group by — toggle between Day and Week rows.
- Service set type and Frequency filters — narrow the matrix to specific service types or recurrence frequencies.
- Match V2 scope — a shortcut that applies the same service set type filter V2 used, for side-by-side comparison against a legacy report.
Group-by and frequency selections are saved to the URL, so a bookmarked or shared link reopens the report the way you left it.
Drilling Into a Cell
- Click any count in the matrix (the Total column also drills through).
- A side panel opens listing the individual jobs that make up that count, with team, crew, clock times, and schedule variance.
- Toggle V2 columns only to see the same eight columns V2 showed, without the extra Dispatch Board detail.
- Use Export in the panel to download the listed jobs.
Cells for exception statuses (Cancelled, Skipped, Moved, Lock Out) are highlighted when they make up 10% or more of that row's total jobs, so a spike is easy to spot while scanning.
Exporting the Matrix
Use Export above the grid and choose CSV or Excel to download the report exactly as displayed — the same visible columns, grouping, and pivot layout.
Tips and Best Practices
- Use the Backlog tile as a daily check. A rising Complete count means jobs are finishing in the field faster than the office is closing them out.
- Group by week for a trend view, by day for operational detail. Day view is best for catching same-day problems; week view is better for spotting a pattern over time.
- Watch the Outside V2 tile if you're reconciling against a legacy report. It quantifies exactly what a V2-based comparison would be missing.
- Use Match V2 scope only for direct comparison. For day-to-day operations, leave the filter at its default so every service set type is counted.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Solution |
|---|---|
| Report unavailable message | The feature is not enabled for your company. Contact your administrator. |
| A branch you expect is missing from the matrix | The report only includes branches you have access to. Confirm your branch access with an administrator. |
| A cell's drill-through count does not match what you expected | The drill-through respects the same service set type and frequency filters applied to the matrix — clear filters to see every job for that cell. |
| Exception highlighting seems inconsistent | Highlighting is relative to each row's own total, not a fixed count — a small row can be flagged with fewer jobs than a large row. |
