Before You Start

  • Open Office > Dashboard.
  • Make sure you can see the Create Dashboard button in the toolbar.

Create a Dashboard Manually

  1. Click Create Dashboard.
  2. In the drawer, enter a Dashboard Name.
  3. In Available Widgets, click + on the widgets you want.
  4. Review the Selected Widgets list.
  5. Click Next: Arrange Widgets.

The next button stays disabled until you add a name and at least one widget.

Understand Ready vs Soon Widgets

In the widget list:

  • Ready means the widget can be added now.
  • Soon means the widget is listed but not available yet.

If a widget is marked Soon, the add button is disabled.

Arrange Widgets on the Grid

After you click Next: Arrange Widgets, a full-screen editor opens.

Move widgets

  1. Click and drag a widget card.
  2. Drop it where you want it in the grid.
  3. The layout reflows automatically to avoid overlap.

Resize widgets

  1. Use the resize handle on the widget card.
  2. Drag to change width.
  3. The widget snaps to valid grid sizes.

Save or cancel

  • Click Save Dashboard to keep the layout.
  • Click Cancel to exit without saving.

Use MaidSense to start a dashboard

MaidSense may need to be turned on for your company. If you don't see Or try MaidSense creation in the Create Dashboard drawer, contact your administrator or Support.

  1. Click Create Dashboard.
  2. Under Or try MaidSense creation, click MaidSense.
  3. In Describe Your Dashboard, type what you want to track, for example "weekly revenue and team performance".
  4. Click Generate Dashboard.
  5. Review the starting layout in the arrange screen, then move or resize widgets.
  6. Click Save Dashboard when it looks right.
note

MaidSense currently picks a starting set of three to five widgets and names the dashboard from your description. It does not yet choose widgets from what you type, so always review the layout before you save.

Use Your New Dashboard

After saving:

  1. Your new dashboard is added to the dashboard selector.
  2. It becomes selectable like pre-built dashboards.
  3. You can switch between pre-built and custom views at any time.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Build one dashboard per workflow (dispatch, sales, leadership).
  • Keep frequently checked KPIs near the top-left area.
  • Use medium and full-size widgets for trend charts.
  • Review dashboards monthly and remove low-value widgets.

Troubleshooting

I cannot click Next in the builder drawer

Add both requirements first:

  1. A dashboard name
  2. At least one selected widget

My saved dashboard does not appear in the dropdown

Wait a moment for the list to refresh. If needed, refresh the page and reopen the selector.

Widgets look crowded after arranging

Reopen the arrange screen and resize larger widgets so trend charts have more width.
