Locations, Comparison, and Fees
Three Franchise Portal pages help you keep track of your network: the Locations list, the location comparison tool, and Fees.
Who Can Access This
| Role | Access Level |
|---|---|
| Super Administrator | Full access |
| Host Administrator | Full access |
Locations
Open Locations from the sidebar to see every franchise location, with a count of how many locations are shown and the current reporting period (Year to Date by default). Switch between a List and a Map view of the same locations; on the map, click a pin to open that location.
Click a location to open it. The location page has its own tabs:
- Overview — year-to-date Revenue, Jobs, Average Job, and Recurring % tiles for this location.
- Profile — the owner/franchisee contact, location details, and branding on file for this location.
- Manage — a link into Fees filtered to this location, and the location's service territory (ZIP code assignment).
- Reports — links into the Franchise Performance KPI, Lead Lifecycle, and Stats by Week reports, pre-filtered to this location.
Compare Locations
Open Compare Locations to line up performance across two or more locations side by side.
To compare locations:
- Open Compare Locations from the sidebar.
- Under Select locations to compare, choose the locations you want to review.
- Use the date preset dropdown to choose the period you want to compare.
Fees
Open Fees to review and manage franchise fee structures and royalty tracking. The page has four tabs:
- Overview — a summary of fee types across your network, including each fee type's dollar cap
- Fee Tiers — add, edit, or delete fee tier structures
- Minimum Royalties — add, edit, or delete minimum royalty periods
- Rate Modifications — turn a service set's Exclude from Franchise Royalty Calculation setting on or off
Use the location filter (All Locations by default) at the top of the page to narrow any tab to a single location.
Writing fees (adding or editing a tier, minimum royalty period, or dollar cap) requires franchisor-level access. A location's own branch Administrator can see these numbers from their Settings, but can't change them — fee changes always come from the Franchise Portal.
Tips and Best Practices
- Use Compare Locations before a franchise review meeting to spot outliers quickly.
- Check the Fees Overview tab first — it links you into the more detailed tiers and royalty tabs.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | Solution |
|---|---|
| A location is missing from the list or comparison | Confirm the location is active. Contact your administrator if it should be included. |
| Fee data looks out of date | Fee changes may take a short time to sync. Contact your administrator if it doesn't update. |
