v0.23.0 ships full-page quoting for existing customers, more automation triggers for custom rules, Export Contacts on by default, and a wide set of payroll, scheduling, invoicing, and technician-access fixes.

Important Changes

  • Travel Pay: Pulse now pays travel time (drive and office time) to technicians on every pay type, matching MaidCentral V2. Previously only Team Hourly technicians received it. If your company relied on the old behavior, contact Support and it can be turned off for your company.
  • Technician Pay: The Allowed Hours option has been removed from the technician Pay Type list when creating or editing a technician. It did not save, and a technician created with it showed as Hourly with a rate of $0.00. Allowed Hours is still available as a pay type on each scope of work, which is where it takes effect. When creating a technician, you can now also enter per-scope pay rates on the Employment step, and they appear on the technician's Pay Structure tab.
  • Notifications: Job Started and Job Completed notifications now fill in your customer's first name, your company name, and the review and social links saved in Logos & Branding. If you pasted a review link into those templates as a workaround, you can switch to the ##LINKGOOGLEBUSINESS## merge field.

Highlights

  • Full-Page Quoting for Existing Customers — Quoting an existing customer's home is no longer book-only. Open New Quote from the customer or a lead, pick one of their saved homes (or start a new one), and now Save or Send the quote, not just book it.
  • More Triggers for Custom Automations — Build custom automation rules on Employee Request Submitted, Payroll Closed, employee schedule changes, quote schedule changes, and inbound text received. Find them in the trigger picker at Automations.
  • Export Contacts — Export your contact list to CSV or Excel right from the Contacts page: select the rows you want and use Export in the selection bar.
  • Days in Status on the Leads List — The Status badge on Contacts > Leads now shows how long a lead has been in that status, so you don't have to open the lead to see it.
  • Time Clock Location Map Shows Both Ends — On Time, the location map for a clocked job now shows where a technician checked in and where they checked out, not just one marker.

What's New to Try

Full-Page Quoting for Existing Customers

Open a customer or lead and click New Quote. Pick one of their saved homes, adjust pricing, and you can now save the quote for later or send it to the customer — booking is still there too.

More Automation Triggers

Head to Automations and start a new rule — the trigger picker now includes Employee Request Submitted, Payroll Closed, employee schedule changes, quote schedule changes, and inbound text received.

Export Contacts

On the Contacts list, select the rows you want and look for Export in the selection bar. It downloads straight to CSV or Excel.

Leads List Status Badge

Open Contacts > Leads and look under any lead's Status badge — it now shows how many days the lead has been in that status.

Time Clock Location Map

On Time, open the location map for any clocked job. You'll now see both the check-in and check-out pins for where the technician was.

Detailed Changes

Features

  • Full-Page Quoting for Existing Customers: Quoting an existing customer now supports Save and Send, with a home picker that prefills address, square footage, beds/baths and current pricing. Start it from New Quote on the customer or lead.
  • Export Contacts: Select contacts on the Contacts list and export them to CSV or Excel from the selection bar.
  • More Triggers for Custom Automations: Build rules on Employee Request Submitted, Payroll Closed, employee schedule changes, quote schedule changes, and inbound text received, at Automations.

Enhancements

  • Leads List — Days in Status: The Status badge on Contacts > Leads now shows days in status under the badge.
  • Time Clock Location Map: Shows both the check-in and check-out location for a clocked job on Time.
  • New Tenants Start with Automations On: New companies and branches now start with the built-in automation rules already active instead of needing to turn them on.
  • Pulse Connect from the Job Detail Drawer: Opening Pulse Connect from a Job Detail Drawer now shows it as an overlay on top instead of hiding it behind the drawer.
  • Customer Overview Activity: Recent Activity on a customer's Overview tab now lists every activity with clickable rows that say which job or invoice they're about, and Latest Note no longer shows a full HTML email.

Bug Fixes

  • Payroll: Travel pay now applies to every pay type, not only Team Hourly.
  • Payroll: Per-scope pay entered while creating a technician now saves, instead of being lost.
  • Notifications: Job Started and Job Completed notifications now fill in the customer's name, company name, and review/social links instead of leaving them blank.
  • Sales Pipeline: The sidebar badge now matches the count on your board's Needs Contacted column, instead of an all-time count across every branch.
  • Dashboard: The Revenue card on the Overview dashboard now matches the light background of the other cards instead of showing as a solid black tile.
  • Technicians: Tags on a technician's profile and the Technicians grid now show their configured colors, and every tag is reachable from the overflow instead of being cut off.
  • Invoicing: The Charge action is now available for customers on Stripe or Authorize.Net, not only CardConnect.
  • Payroll: Incentive pay tiers created in MaidCentral V2 now show their real criteria, amount, and tags in the Model Library, and pay correctly instead of $0.
  • Quoting: Percentage rate modifiers of 100% or more now apply correctly instead of being treated as a tiny fraction.
  • Scheduling: Office users who are allowed to add a job fee or rate modifier can now remove it too.
  • Login: Opening a direct link while signed out now returns you to that page after you sign in, instead of landing on the dashboard.
  • Settings: The kiosk password field now enforces the same password policy as the API and shows a clear reason inline when a password is rejected.
  • Technician Access: Technicians can no longer read customer, job, home, lead, ticket, or schedule data outside their own assignments through office pages.
  • Kiosk: A technician selected at the shared kiosk tablet can no longer view or change another technician's information — kiosk sessions are now scoped to the clock only.
  • Scheduling: Recurring events no longer create duplicate occurrences, and regenerating a schedule keeps the dates the old and new pattern share.
  • Quoting: Required numeric pricing questions must now be answered before a quote can be booked.
  • Automations: Two rules that triggered each other now stop automatically instead of looping.
  • Automations: Inbound-text automations are now capped so an auto-reply can't get stuck in a back-and-forth loop with another auto-responder.
  • Automations: 1-day and 7-day reminders no longer get skipped for branches whose notification time falls after UTC midnight.
  • Leads: The Note History All view on a lead now includes open tickets, not just notes.
