Goals Overview
The Goals page is where your team's targets live. Each goal pairs a metric (for example, Recurring Revenue) with a target number for a calendar period (today, this week, this month, or this year), optionally scoped to specific branches and services. Pulse then tracks your real numbers against that target and shows whether you are pacing to hit it.
Who Can Access This
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Super Administrator | View, create, edit, archive, refresh pace |
| Host Administrator | View, create, edit, archive, refresh pace |
| Group Administrator | View, create, edit, archive, refresh pace |
| Administrator | View, create, edit, archive, refresh pace |

Goals must be turned on for your company before anyone can use them. If the Goals menu item is missing, your company has not enabled the feature — contact your administrator.
Open the Goals Page
- Go to Office > Goals in the left navigation.
- Existing goals appear as cards in a grid. If there are none yet, you'll see No goals yet with a prompt to apply a template or create one from scratch.
Reading a Goal Card
Each card summarizes one goal:
- Title — the metric the goal tracks (for example, Revenue or Completed Jobs).
- Period — the granularity and the calendar period, such as Daily · Jun 19, 2026 or Monthly · 2026-06.
- Pace — your actual value so far versus the target (for example, $18,200 of $25,000).
- Status badge — a color-coded indicator of how you are pacing:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| On Track | Your projected end-of-period result meets or beats the target. |
| At Risk | Your projection falls just short — within the at-risk band (10% by default). A nudge now likely fixes it. |
| Off Track | Your projection misses the target by more than the at-risk band. |
| No Data | Pace cannot show a calculated snapshot yet. The card explains whether it has not been computed, has no matching source rows, cannot be computed, or the analytics source is unavailable. |
- Projected — where Pulse expects you to finish the period if the current pace holds.
A goal that was just created shows Calculating… while Pulse reads live operational SQL; the first pace value normally appears within a few seconds. Pace is refreshed automatically every night, and an administrator can still force a refresh with Refresh pace. A real actual value of 0 displays as 0, not No Data. See Using and Managing Goals.

Toolbar Controls
At the top of the Goals page:
- Status filter — switch between Active goals (the default) and Archived goals.
- Period filter — narrow the grid to a single granularity (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) or All periods. New goal setup only offers the periods supported by the selected metric.
- Apply template (create permission) — add a ready-made set of goals in one click.
- Refresh pace (admin permission) — recalculate every goal's pace right now.
- Create goal (create permission) — open the goal builder.
